Park Wieloryba (“Whale Park”) at ul. Kamieńska 1C in Rewal is a family theme park about seas and oceans. Among more than 100 models of sea creatures, children play and pick up a lot about life under water along the way – a good plan for a day off the beach.
What you will see
- four themed zones: Kraina Bałtyku (Baltic Land), Giganci z Oceanów (Ocean Giants), Potwory z Głębin (Monsters of the Deep) and Piraci i Papugi (Pirates and Parrots)
- a 35 m blue whale model, plus a shark, an octopus and a jellyfish, among others
- a pirate ship, pirate meet-ups and talking parrots
- a playground, a bouncy castle and a green area with hammocks and loungers
- Tawerna Pirata for snacks, and a souvenir shop
When to go
The park is open in season, from May to the end of September, and then every day. Much of it is outdoors, so you get the most out of it on a dry day. Allow at least two hours; Google Maps shows the current opening hours. Pets are not allowed in the park. Don’t confuse it with the whale sculpture on Plac Wielorybów by the viewing terrace in the centre of Rewal – that is a different place.
