The Oceanarium in the middle of Rewal, at ul. Westerplatte 1, is a small indoor exhibition of tanks full of sea and freshwater creatures. It is a good pick for a rainy afternoon or a short break from the beach – a visit usually takes 20 to 40 minutes.
What you will see
- around 20 freshwater and marine aquariums
- a shark, rays, crabs, sea anemones and corals
- colourful reef fish, including clownfish like the ones in “Finding Nemo”
- terrariums with snakes and lizards
When to go
Everything is under a roof, so it works in any weather and especially when it rains. Google Maps shows the current opening hours; outside the summer holidays, call ahead to make sure it is open. Park Wieloryba is about 450 m away in a straight line, so the two are easy to combine in one day.
