The Oceanarium in Niechorze, at Aleja Bursztynowa 1, is a small indoor aquarium exhibition with fish and other water creatures from around the world. It makes a good plan for a grey or rainy day when the beach is off – especially with children.
What you'll see

- a young shark, moray eels and rays
- piranhas and lionfish
- turtles and colourful reef fish, including clownfish like the ones in “Finding Nemo”
When to come
Everything is under one roof, so the weather doesn't matter. It is a small place: according to visitor reviews, a walk round usually takes 10 to 20 minutes, so it pairs well with a stroll through Niechorze – the lighthouse is about 1 km away in a straight line. The oceanarium says it opens daily; Google Maps shows the current hours, and outside the summer holidays it is worth calling before you set off.
