REJS is a restaurant at the guesthouse on Mickiewicza 37 — a few minutes' walk from the central beach, by the park. You can walk in from the street, not only as a guest of the pension.
They say themselves that the place has been on the map since 1960, founded by the grandfather of today's hosts, and that the name kept changing until it settled on REJS. Today the menu joins Polish classics with newer dishes. On their site you'll find it stated: black dumplings with cod and herb-garlic butter, smoked beef tartare, BBQ ribs, baked cod under a parsley blanket, “nieruskie” dumplings, goulash with potato pancakes, schnitzel. Plus seasonal things like carrot soup with flaked almonds, cauliflower steak or baked camembert with honey. Hotel guests in reviews praise the same set: tartare, black dumplings, game goulash.
This is not a counter for a quick cutlet from the steam table. There's a garden, cocktails, wine (Solaris from Winnica Turnau appears on the site), brunch, lunch and dinner. Kids get a corner and a separate menu. Dogs are welcome, takeaway works, you pay by card.
