For apartment owners

What to buy before the first guest arrives

We have a tried-and-tested equipment list and go through it with you room by room — you buy only what your apartment is missing.

From experience — what owners forget

A few examples from the full list. A bed, Wi-Fi and a TV you probably have without us — below is what nobody buys until a guest asks.

Kitchen

  • Oven or microwave? Both work — an oven with a microwave function (not the other way round ;)) kills two birds with one stone
  • A capsule machine for several systemsguests rarely bring their own capsules — what matters is what you can buy near you, while keeping it flexible
  • A toasterquestion number one in the kitchen, right after the kettle
  • Several bins for sorting wasteguests from Germany sort out of habit — and look for the bins
  • A bottle opener and a corkscrewplus scissors, a colander and a measuring jug — nobody remembers them until a guest writes at 10 pm

Bedroom

  • A duvet and a pillow for every person (135 × 200, 50 × 70)guests expect their own duvet; a shared one soon ends up in a review

Living room

  • German channels via satelliteask the developer whether one LNB receives Astra 19.2E

Bathroom

  • A hair dryermissing — the guest asks; there — nobody notices. Better that nobody notices
  • A squeegee for the showerguests from Germany look for it — and leave the shower dry

Cleaning

  • A mop (not Vileda) and a vacuum cleanera 40 cm flat pocket mop with microfibre pads, washed in the machine — we will give you the model

Safety and access

  • A smoke detector, and with gas or a fireplace a carbon monoxide detector toowithout working detectors we do not open the calendar
  • Remotes for the gate, the garage and the bin shelter — three of eachus, the guest, the cleaning
  • A mosquito netmosquitoes don't read reviews, but guests write them

That is the start. The full list — room by room, from the sofa to the bottle opener — you get from us after a conversation, fitted to your apartment and to the guests you want to welcome.
